Some Changes!

You may notice that the site has changed!

We have upgraded to a new system in an effort to cut down on spam posts and also provide additional functionality that was highly requested from the users.

There are a few things to note:
Only Gumbo Groove Authors can create posts (like This) on the front page. If you have something you wish to write about, please e-mail info@gumbogroove.com and request "Author" status.

As a close knit swing community, we have always helped each other out. I'll never forget the first time we reconvened in the French Quarter after Katrina. After seeing everyone Angeli's on Decatur and listening to the Jazz Vipers live after over a month with all my close friends, I cannot begin to express the joy that I felt in my heart, soul, and feet that night!

Are we going to have venue listings again? If they're already here, please guide me. I could have sworn I already posted this yesterday, but now can't find it. I'm very confused. Is there a way to look at a list of our own posts, in case we lose them? I feel doddering coming on....

Can we have a Forum specifically for dance wear? It's often that people ask me where to buy dance shoes, vintage clothing, dance inspired clothing, etc. I would love to start a new folder and get some threads going "pun intended."
