Gumbo Groove

Stolen Sweets will be playing at Preservation Hall this Friday! They will be playing three sets, at 8:15, 9:15 and 10:15, this is one hot group you don't want to miss. Tickets are $10, but don't forget to bring some extra cash to bring home a CD.

The tight harmonies of the Boswell Sisters meet the gypsy jazz of Django Reinhardt, Erin Sutherland, Lara Michell and Jen Bernard sing accompanied by guitarists Pete Krebs and David Langenes and Keith Brush on the string base. Natives of Portland, Oregon, the group has toured Europe, and is finally able to return to perform in their favorite city of New Orleans, in the historic Preservation Hall.
